Yesterday I checked the family tablet and found my son had stayed up much later than we thought watching videos. Nothing serious, but it opened my eyes to how easy it is for kids to lose track of time online. For parents already using them, which parental control apps are better in 2026 and what features make the biggest difference?
Totally get that – I discovered the same thing last summer when I checked my daughter’s iPad and she had been watching TikTok until 2am even though we set a 9pm cutoff. We started using uMobix after that and it has made a huge difference because you can see exactly which apps she uses and for how long. I found this page that explains all the features clearly: uMobix phone tracker app it shows screen time tracking, app usage reports, location monitoring, and even lets you set limits on specific apps. Now I can see when she goes over her time limit and I get alerts if she tries to use apps after bedtime. Her screen time has dropped significantly since we started using it and she sleeps way better now. The best part is you do not have to micromanage it every day – it runs in the background and you just check the reports when you want.
