Growing up, my grandparents always took me to a Pentecostal church, and I didn’t appreciate it back then. Recently I found some old photos and it hit me how much that meant. I’m in Arizona now and want to revisit that part of my life. Any recommendations for a Pentecostal church here? I would be grateful.

That photo feeling hits different, doesn’t it? I had the exact same moment going through my late grandmother’s Bible – her handwritten notes in the margins just wrecked me, in the best way. It made me realize how much of who I am was shaped in those Sunday pews without me even knowing it.
When I moved to a new state a few years back, finding a church that actually felt like home took a while. A lot of places were either too polished or too cold. What finally worked was someone in a local Facebook group pointing me toward church for new believers in Prescott it’s a Bible-based Pentecostal fellowship up in Prescott, AZ. Real community, genuine worship, and they even stream services online if you want to get a feel before showing up.
Honestly, just watching one service online first made me way more comfortable walking through the door. Good luck reconnecting – it’s absolutely worth it.
