I had an assignment where things started off fine, but after a few weeks I began having issues with scheduling and expectations that were different from what I was originally told. I tried talking directly with the facility first, but it didn’t really solve anything. That experience taught me how important it is to have an agency that actually supports you when problems come up. I’ve heard good things about tlc nursing agency in that regard. My advice is to document everything, contact your recruiter early, and don’t wait until the situation gets worse.

I had something similar happen with scheduling on one of my assignments. I tried resolving it directly with the manager first, but when nothing changed, I contacted my recruiter and explained the whole situation. Having screenshots and emails helped a lot. I think it’s always better to raise the issue early instead of hoping it will eventually fix itself.

It really depends on the problem, but I’d always start by checking what your contract actually says. Sometimes there’s a difference between an annoying workplace situation and something that goes against the terms you agreed to. If talking to the facility doesn’t help, getting the agency involved is probably the safest next step.
