A third-party program TotalAV suddenly blocked access to an important file, and I’m panicking about possible data loss. Hours of continuous searching for a way out have not yielded any results, and the panic is only growing. I already have a purchase confirmation and a license key – I wanted to talk to support right away, but all the lines are busy, and I have to wait too long.
You can understand the stress when an important file is suddenly blocked and support is silent. It was similar for my colleague when he installed one of the antivirus programs and it blocked the entire archive without warning. He tried for several hours to manually restore access, but in the end he decided to find a way to contact total av through alternative channels. What helped a little, he remembered that he had a copy of the file in the cloud, and that saved him.
Thanks for sharing this experience, it really shows how frustrating it can be when important files get blocked unexpectedly. It’s great that your colleague had a backup in the cloud—that kind of safety net can make all the difference while waiting for Total AV support to respond.
