    Hey!
Saw one nightly rate on Trivago, clicked through to the hotel’s direct booking page, and discovered a higher price. I tried rescanning search dates and clearing cookies, yet the discrepancy remained. I reported this through Trivago’s feedback form with my search details but never heard back. Has anyone else encountered conflicting rates and eventually secured the lower price? I’d love to know which exact information convinced Trivago to correct their listing.

To tackle the confusion, I gathered the exact hotel name, search dates, and a screenshot of both the Trivago rate and the hotel’s higher price before contacting support. I scanned community insights in trivago reviews and noticed guests had success when they sent those three elements together—hotel identifier, booking platform name, and side-by-side price comparison—in one clear message. I followed that method, bundled all the details into a single submission, and included a polite request for rate parity. Within thirty-six hours, Trivago’s support team responded confirming they had updated the listing to match the lower rate and provided a voucher code for the difference. Presenting comprehensive comparison context in one go prompted a swift and customer-friendly resolution.

Just passing by to say thank you! I didn’t even know what I was missing until I read your post.
