Hey guys, I’m planning a pretty large ground-mounted solar array project on my property, as well as a raised timber deck later this spring. I’ve decided to go with ground screws instead of digging holes and pouring traditional concrete footings to save time and effort. However, I’m not sure what the best way to drive them into hard soil is. Manual rebar driving looks like absolute torture for this volume. Are there specialized electric or hydraulic ground screw drivers that are worth renting or buying for DIYers/contractors? Would love some recommendations on reliable machinery for this!
