I finished editing a video, but when I export it, the audio is noticeably out of sync with the footage. During editing, everything looks perfectly aligned in the timeline. I’ve tried changing export settings and formats, but the problem persists. Could this be a bug in the software or a codec mismatch? Where do editors find reliable tools that avoid such glitches?

Audio drifts out of sync only after export, it’s often due to mismatched frame rates, variable frame rate footage, or certain codec quirks rather than the editing timeline itself. Converting your clips to a constant frame rate before editing, matching the export settings to your sequence, and using high-quality audio formats can help fix the issue. Many editors stick with well-maintained versions of their software from official sites or trusted resellers to avoid bugs like this, though some explore options such as Adobe Premiere Pro download or the licensed subscription depending on availability and preference.
