Austin Eats hopes to recreate the food access ecosystem and rewrite the narrative around food in Austin. This collaborative of over 18 diverse partners is working to synergize efforts that promote healthier food choices by supporting grocery access, culinary entrepreneurship, food education, community gardens, and urban farms.
As of July 2026, twenty-seven organizations are working together to support and lead the implementation of the Austin Eats Initiative. They include:
